The application is now open for students enrolled in a community college or a four-year university program completing an undergraduate degree majoring in urban planning, architecture, or related fields (Geography, Sociology, Political Science, and Public Policy).

Program Overview
The Urban Planning & Design Internship Program is a partnership between the Long Beach Community Design Center, The City of Long Beach Economic Development Department Pacific Gateway, and Civic Confidence to foster urban planning, design, collaboration, and civic engagement in real-world learning experiences for students interested in urban planning and design. Through a series of curated activities, events, and projects we will connect students with urban planning and design professionals, provide opportunities to learn from industry experts, gain practical skills, build meaningful connections, and prepare them for successful careers.

This is a paid fellowship at $22 an hour for a maximum of 600 hours for the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 academic year.
